Overview

This Project Management Workshop is designed for Project Management Associates and early-career Project Managers who want to strengthen their practical project management skills and improve project delivery outcomes. Before the workshop, participants will complete a series of self-paced refresher modules covering project management fundamentals, project planning and estimation, risk and stakeholder management, and project financial awareness. Participants will also complete a pre-assessment and submit information about their current projects, challenges, and learning objectives. The workshop itself focuses on real-world application rather than theory. Participants will work on actual project scenarios and learn practical techniques for planning, estimation, cost tracking, resource management, risk management, stakeholder communication, forecasting, and project profitability. Throughout the program, participants will apply tools and templates directly to their own projects. By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
  • Build more realistic project plans and estimates
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively
  • Improve stakeholder communication and expectation management
  • Track project progress and performance effectively
  • Understand the financial impact of project decisions
  • Develop actionable plans to improve project outcomes
Participants are encouraged to actively engage in discussions, complete all pre-work activities, and bring real project challenges to maximize the value of the workshop.
