Charmaine Taguiam is an Instructional Designer with over 8 years of experience across teaching, instructional design, knowledge management, and digital learning. Her career spans healthcare, business process outsourcing (BPO), and corporate learning environments, where she has designed instructor-led training, eLearning, and microlearning for a wide range of programs and lines of business.

She has hands-on experience with Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline 360, learning management system (LMS) environments such as Docebo, Workday Learning, TalentLMS, and Moodle, and multimedia tools such as Vyond, Camtasia, and Adobe Captivate. She also works with AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, and Napkin AI. She has been exploring learning design automation and ways to use AI to make content development more efficient.

Charmaine has collaborated closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to analyze learning needs, develop curriculum, manage learning projects, and evaluate training effectiveness using instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.

Before moving into corporate learning, she spent six years as a senior high school teacher and college instructor, where she also served as adviser to the Supreme Student Council. She brings both classroom experience and a healthcare background to every course she creates.

She enjoys creating practical learning experiences that are engaging and aligned with organizational goals, while continuously exploring new technologies and innovative approaches to workplace learning.
